
Prof. Atif Iqbal, Qatar University,Qatar
Bio: Atif Iqbal (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India, in 1991 and 1996, respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, U.K., in 2006. He received the D.Sc. degree (Habilitation) in control, informatics, and electrical engineering from the Gdansk University of Technology, Gdansk, Poland in 2019. He is a Full Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, and a former Full Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, AMU, Aligarh, India. Prof. Iqbal is Honorary Adjunct Professor at M.A. American University, Nigeria, and Bharath University, India. He is also Adjunct Faculty at the Community College, Doha, Qatar. Prof. Iqbal has been listed in top 2% highly cited scientists of the world (Stanford University, USA) since 2019. Dr. Iqbal is also IE (India), AIAA (Asia Pacific), and AIIA (Asia).

Prof. Yiming Zhang, Fuzhou University, China
Bio: Yiming Zhang is a full Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University. He also serves as the Deputy Director of Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of New Energy Power Generation and Power Conversion. Dr. Zhang was awarded the inaugural National Outstanding Youth Fund for Overseas Scholars. He is a Distinguished Professor under the Minjiang Scholar Program of Fujian Province, an IEEE Senior Member, and an Editorial Board Member of PCMP, WPT and CPSS TPEA journals. He has been listed in Elsevier’s World’s Top 2% Scientists (Career-Long Impact Ranking). He is recognized as a High-Level Overseas Talent (Category B) of Fujian Province. He serves as a Committee Member of the Lighting Power Supply Technical Committee of China Power Supply Society, the Wireless Power Transfer Technical Committee of China Electrotechnical Society, and the New Energy and Energy Storage System Control Technical Committee of Chinese Association of Automation. He received his Bachelor’s and Doctoral degrees from Tsinghua University.
His primary research interests cover wireless power transfer technology and power electronic conversion technology. As the sole author, he has published one English monograph with Springer. In recent years, he has authored more than 200 papers in renowned domestic and international journals and conferences, including nearly 130 first-author/corresponding-author SCI papers and over 70 first-author/corresponding-author EI papers. His total citation count exceeds 8,000 with an H-index of 50. Fourteen of his papers are ESI Highly Cited Papers and three are ESI Hot Papers. He acted as Publication Chair of ICWPT 2022 and delivered keynote speeches at numerous international conferences including ICPST 2023 and ICCEE 2022. His academic honors include the First-Class Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from Tsinghua University, Outstanding Reviewer awards for top journals TPEL and TIE, as well as multiple outstanding conference paper awards from domestic and international conferences such as ECCE, EVS, EVCP and CIEEC. He teaches a First-Class Undergraduate Course of Fujian Province. He has presided over a National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Fund for Overseas Scholars Project, a National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, the Fujian Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund Project, a Foreign Science and Technology Cooperation Project sponsored by Fuzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and Industry-University Collaborative Education Projects funded by the Ministry of Education of China.

Prof. XinhuaGuo, Huaqiao University, China
Bio: Xinhua Guo is the Vice Dean of the College of Information Science and Engineering at Huaqiao University, where he also serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Chair of the Technical Committee on Electric Drives and Power Conversion of the Fujian Society for Electrical Engineering, and a member of the Electric Vehicle Technical Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society. He has been selected for the Fujian Provincial Innovation Star Program and as a provincial-level candidate of the Fujian Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project. He has led projects under the National Key Research and Development Program of China, General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Fujian Provincial University–Industry Cooperation Projects, Xiamen Science and Technology Program Projects, as well as other national, provincial, ministerial, and municipal projects and multiple technology development projects commissioned by enterprises. He has published more than 60 academic papers, translated one scholarly monograph, been granted 28 invention patents, and transferred six patents. He has received the First Prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, the Third Prize of the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Second and Third Prizes of the Xiamen Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.

Prof. Wanneng Yu, Jimei University,China
Bio: Wanneng Yu is a marine electrical and electronic technician, professor, and doctoral advisor. He previously served as a marine electrician aboard actual vessels for six years, worked as an electrical engineer at Chengyi Shipping Company for three years, and served as a laboratory instructor at the School of Marine Engineering for three years. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in the fields of marine electrical systems and automation. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Marine Engineering, Deputy Director of the Fujian Provincial Engineering Research Center for Small-Scale Green and Intelligent Coastal Vessel Systems, and leads the Fujian Provincial Master’s Degree Supervisor Team for Mechanical Engineering (Ship and Ocean Engineering) as well as the university-based scientific and technological innovation team (industrialization) for the Research, Development, and Application of Small-Scale Green and Intelligent Coastal Vessels in Fujian Province. His research focuses primarily on marine electric propulsion and its control, multi-energy ship microgrid systems, and intelligent ship control.
